Who is Greshun De Bouse?

Greshun De Bouse is a Global Advocate and, Equality Advocate, Author, and Behaviorist. She is extensively educated-formally and informally, has conducted significant research with published findings, and coined terms in the dictionary.

Activist De Bouse has advocated globally for equality of the most vulnerable and underserved populations, and has been recognized for her equality advocacy, activism, and leadership by dignitaries and celebrities alike.

Committed to Equality Advocacy, Activist De Bouse has founded some of the most impactful, awareness-raising movements existing. She is creator of the hashtag #kneeoffmyneck and is credited with being the first to use both the phrase and hashtag on social media. Relatively, Activist De Bouse is founder of KOMN or the KNEEOFFMYNECK Movement which positively encourages police accountability in citizen interactions, and peaceful resolve to police race-based brutality where it exists. Activist De Bouse also founded National CAPHPACH Day or #CAPHPACHDAY (pronounced capĀ°pack)-an acronym for Citizens Against Police Harassment Police Against Citizen Harassment, that promotes mutual respect between police and citizens as a facilitator of positive peaceful resolve to community issues. In 2020, Greshun De Bouse was named Most Phenomenal Woman of 2020, and also walked with then 93-year-old Activist Opal Lee in Ms. Opal's Walk to DC to make Juneteenth a National Holiday. She was named Mover and Shaker of the Year and recognized by Mayor Latoya Cantrell of New Orleans, LA in 2019 for her commitment to justice, and her extensive arsenal of global equality and leadership work has prompted the NACCDI to honor her with her own namesake holiday-National Greshun Day, celebrated July 7 annually. Activist De Bouse is the great niece of famed photographer Henry L. Hooks, and great great niece of Sandy B. Hooks-the first Black postman in Blanchard, LA.
