Who is Heinrich Hugo Altsmann?
German-Italian teacher. Originally from the Prussian part of Silesia, he was a jewish teacher at the Regio Istituto Tecnico at Genova (Italy). He was the author of the essay «Alcune Considerazioni sull'insegnamento delle lingue estere, in ispecie del Tedesco negli Istituti tecnici, con noterelle pedagogiche» (1896). At the age of 58 years he married on 11.02.1893 Angela Rosa Gazzolo from Nervi. Four years later was born his daughter Giuseppina Ernestina (1897-1974).
