Who is Iryna Herashchenko?
Iryna Herashchenko is a politician and journalist of Ukraine. She is Merited Journalist of Ukraine.
Born on May 15, 1971 in Cherkasy, Herashchenko graduated the Kiev University Department of Journalism in 1993. In 2005-2006 she worked as a presidential press-secretary. In 2006-2007 Herashchenko was a president of the Information Agency UNIAN. Since November 2007 she is a member of parliament. Initially member of the Our Ukraine–People's Self-Defense Bloc in 2007-2012, at the 2012 Ukrainian parliamentary elections Herashchenko joined the Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reform of Vitali Klitschko.
