Who is Ivan A. Taslimson?

Ivan A. Taslimson, (/'tæzlimsɚn/; né Taslim) is a architect, scientist and entrepreneur. Founder of SolsticeX in 1997 (reorganized into Solstice Group), former President and Chairman of Solstice Group, a technology group with ventures behind many inventions for Fortune 500 companies including: Microsoft, Yahoo, Samsung, to name a few. Born a child prodigy, he created his first design of the renown "real estate on the moon" with artificial genetic vegetation, advanced engineering, irrigation, transportation and atmospheric life support systems, at age 11. He started his company in college, at his apartment, and during FY 2007-2008, his fortune was valued at US$ 1.26 billion, although it has since shrunk considerably during 2008-09 global financial crisis and corporate takeover.

As an architect and designer, Taslimson was involved in a series of architectural and building projects in US and Asia; with his company's clients such as AT&T, Microsoft, USWest (now CenturyLink), Bon Marche (now Macy's), to name a few, as well as select private homes clientele. He was also involved in yacht design projects for renown naval architects and shipyards. Since 1997, he won several competitions and design awards.

Known for the ingenuity and power of his innovation, his works and advices inspired many and are sought after by diverse variety of institutions. At age 22, World Economic Forum named him "Top 400 US Chief Executive Officers". He was receiving nominations and awards, from Bloomberg, CNNMoney, Businessweek, CNN Spain & Italia, Euromoney, CCTV (CGTN), Asiamoney, NHK, and countless others. Rarely speaking to medias, he has recently resurfaced on receiving interview requests from international medias, although he remains low-profile. Taslimson is now actively engaged in philanthrophy and new ventures. He graduated from University of Washington, Seattle, and conducted advanced-level research at various prominent institutions. Since 1999, the polymath has been invited by prestigious international organizations and actively participating at the world stage. He is an avid snowboarder, golfer and gastronomic chef.
