Who was James Gray?
James Gordon Gray FRSE MInstEE was a Scottish mathematician and physicist.
Born in Glasgow, the son of Andrew Gray, he was educated at Friars Grammar School, in Bangor, Caernarvonshire, Wales, where his father was employed by the university.
