Who is John Curtice?

John Kevin Curtice, FRSA, FRSE is an academic who is currently Professor of Politics at the University of Strathclyde. He is particularly interested in electoral behaviour and researching political and social attitudes. He also takes a keen interest on the debate for Scottish independence.

Curtice was educated at Truro School and Magdalen College, Oxford where he read Politics, Philosophy and Economics, and later transferred to Nuffield College as a postgraduate. He is one of Britain's leading psephologists and is the current President of the British Polling Council. He is married with one daughter.
