Who is Joseph Armstead?

Joseph Armstead is a prolific American author of novels, short fiction, and poetry. Various biographical profiles have noted that “his education and training in the sciences inspired him to develop a more reality-based and plausible outlook on traditional horror-suspense storytelling tropes. Cliches annoy him. The more a novel or story is firmly rooted in Reality, the more easily a reader can connect with the events and characters therein.” An author of at least 9 published titles, Armstead’s writings occupy precise intellectual frameworks that explore themes of personal and societal alienation, xenophobia, conspiracy theories, interspecies racism, extreme criminal mentalities and renegade scientific technologies. A resident of northern California, he is a member of both the American Mathematical and World Futurist societies.
