Who was Juan Delis?
Juan Francisco Delis was a third baseman in Major League Baseball. He played for the Washington Senators in 1955.
Prior to his Major League career, Delis had played in the Cuban League, winning the "Rookie of the Year" award in 1953-54. After his Major League career, Delis played in the Mexican League, leading the league in doubles with 43 in 1960 and 37 in 1962.
