Who is Karel Vosátka?
Karel Vosátka was a pairs figure skater who competed for Czechoslovakia. With partner Blažena Knittlová, he won the silver medal at the European Figure Skating Championships in 1948 and finished 16th at the 1948 Winter Olympics. He emigrated to Canada in 1976 and is still actively teaching figure skating. Married Cristina Patraulea in 1963. Their son Robin Vosatka was a pairs finished 4th in the Canadian Championships in 1979.
