Who is Kevin McKeown?
Kevin McKeown is a Scottish former association football player, who played as a goalkeeper. In his well-travelled career, he played for Motherwell, Stenhousemuir, and Stirling in his native Scotland, before moving across the North Channel to play in the Irish League with Crusaders.
He won many trophies and achieved legend status with Crusaders, and has been regularly chosen by their fans as one of, if not the best goalkeeper the club has ever had. In 1994/95 he was named as the Ulster Footballer of the Year. After these successful years, McKeown had further spells with Ayr United, Newry Town, Coleraine, Cliftonville, Brechin City, and East Fife.
