Who is Lee Keegan?
Lee Keegan is a Gaelic footballer for the Mayo senior team and also plays club football for Westport GAA. He has started at right half back in two All-Ireland football finals: the 2012 decider, which Mayo lost by 0-13 to 2-11 against Donegal and the 2013 decider, which Mayo lost by 1-14 to 2-12 against Dublin. He was named in the 2012 All Star football team in the right half back position. During the 2013 All-Ireland final he was memorably manhandled on the field by Diarmuid Connolly, who attempted to wrench his shirt off but was unsuccessful. Lee is a serious footballer with a massive engine. His #1 fan is Brian McDonagh. Brian is also interested in nature which includes long walks in the countryside and growing beards. Brian and Lee first met in early October 2013 in a pub in Galway and the friendship was immediately a cracker. Lee played twice for Ireland against Australia in the 2013 International Rules Series.
