Who is Lee Santiago AKA Lee Botix?

Born in Brooklyn NY Lee was born into a musical family. His uncle Hector Seda was Labelle's Bassist and inspired Lee to pursue music as well. His other uncle James Seda was Penn State's radio dj and Lee use to listen to his recorded sessions and studied all forms of music which included rock to soul. His family outing's consisted of all his family jamming out to salsa.

When Lee was old enough he started going to the Funhouse Disco In NYC and was inspired to dj from listening to and watching John "Jellybean" Benitez. After a year of practicing the craft he started playing parties and eventually landed a gig as a inhouse dj at a few Brooklyn locations. He was invited to Inter-metro record pool and started dj'ing outside of Brooklyn. At around 1990 Lee hooked up with superstar DJ Frankie Bones and soon after Storm Rave was born. At around that time Lee worked as in house help and sales at Aligned Audio a record pressing plant and produced his first 12" record. The Journey and up on the techno beat quickly became a classic in Germany and beyond. His second release under the name The original gangsters of freestyle was on BGP records Techno Stratigo and It's the only way was well received at Storm raves. In 1992 Lee recorded his 3rd pressing under the name Drastik Measures and made the techno hit "The Lone Raver" which was a remake of The Lone raver. Lee signed with a NYC booking agency and started performing all over the country and Mexico. unhappy with the management he had at the time decided to get out of the big city and move to Lancaster PA where his family use to vacation every year. Lee ended his musical career and started driving for UPS. After 19 years of service to them he left for a not so back breaking job as a car salesman.
