Who was Len Johnson?
Leslie Albert Johnson was an Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon and North Melbourne in the Victorian Football League. He was equal leading goalkicker for Essendon in the 1929 VFL season, and in one game kicked 9 goals. He then played and coaching in Tasmania, including at the Longford Football Club.
He was killed in action in Malaya during World War II.
