Who was Lincoln Goldie?

Lincoln Goldie was an industrialist and politician in Ontario. He represented Wellington South in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1923 to 1931 as a Conservative member.

Born in Guelph, the son of James Goldie and Francis Owen, he became the president of the Goldie Mill established by his father and also served as chairman of the Canadian Wheat Board. He married Estella A Bricker. Goldie was Provincial Secretary and Registrar of Ontario from 1923 to 1930. He died in office after a brief illness at the age of 66.

His brother Thomas served as mayor of Guelph.
