Lincoln Johnson Ragsdale, Sr. was an influential leader in the Phoenix-area African-American Civil Rights Movement. Known for his outspokenness, Ragsdale was instrumental in various reform efforts in the Valley, including voting rights and the desegregation of schools, neighborhoods, and public accommodations.
