Lionel Bender

Who is Lionel Bender?

Lionel Bender is a British author of more than 70 children's illustrated information books, and is the editorial partner of book creation house Bender, Richardson, White. He gives professional advice, talks, and workshops on many aspects of children's non-fiction publishing. He is the initiator and co-chair of the 21st Century Children's Nonfiction Conference, first held in SUNY, New Paltz in June 2013.

Lionel is a long-term member of the British Minigolf Association, and has represented his country in European and World Championship Minigolf Sport events. He is the co-author of the official Beginner's Guide to Miniature Golf.
