Who is Louise Shelley?
Louise Shelley is a professor at George Mason University in Virginia. She is also founder and director of the Terrorism, Transnational Crime and Corruption Center. Shelley's most recent book, Human Trafficking: A Global Perspective, was published by Cambridge University Press in December 2010. She also published, "Policing Soviet Society", "Lawyers in Soviet Worklife" and "Crime and Modernization", as well as numerous articles and book chapters on all aspects of transnational crime and corruption.
