Who is Lovers Make Liars?

Lovers Make Liars is an American Pop/Rock group formed in 2006 most well known for having been the first band of Kendall Schmidt - later known for pop group and TV show Big Time Rush. The band was started by Tordy Jack, Jordan Meckley, Vanand Sinanian, Sean Kreisberg and original vocalist Ron Beem. Meckley, Jack and Sinanian were the primary songwriters. Beem left the band in Spring of '08 and Kendall joined and had a short stint as the lead vocalist where they played various gigs such as the Vans Warped Tour in Summer of '08. Schmidt dropped out to audition for BTR and was replaced by Jason Translateur. They then released a single on iTunes late '08 titled "Pillow Talk".

The band went on an indefinite hiatus in late 2009 never having officially released their second EP "Every Secret You Keep", though the songs are available to listen to online and may be released sometime in the future. Vocalist Schmidt went on to Big Time Rush and bassist/songwriter Jordan Meckley joined established rock band The Material. Both are currently doing national U.S. tours. The band announced they have broken up on their Myspace in 2010.
