Who is Lucas Hunt?
Lucas Allen Hunt is an American poet.
Hunt has written two volumes of poetry, Lives, published by Vagabond Press, and Light on the Concrete, forthcoming from The North Sea Press.
His poems have appeared in The Southampton Review Confrontation, Slice, Anderbo, and have been anthologized in Meet The Writers and Long Island Sounds. He is the recipient of a John Steinbeck Award for poetry.
Hunt graduated from Southampton College, with a bachelor’s degree in English, and an MFA in Writing. He has resided in East Hampton, NY since 2000. In 2010 he appeared at "Reader: Giving Voice to Verse" at Ashawagh Hall in Springs, New York Hunt is also an agent at the Philip G. Spitzer Literary Agency.
