Who was Lynn Fausett?
Lynn Fausett was an American painter.
Born in 1894 in Price, Utah, Fausett studied at Brigham Young University, University of Utah and the Art Students League. In addition, he spent time in France studying art. He was awarded a Meritorious Service Award for his work as an art director in the Special Service during World War II. In 1941 he painted a mural in the Farmington Rock Chapel for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints depicting the establishment of the Primary. He did murals for the City Hall in Price and for This Is the Place Heritage Park. Fausett died in 1977, after having achieved regional recognition as a Western painter.
Fausett's brother, Dean, was also a painter.
