Who is Lyubomir Lyubenov?
Lyubomir Lyubenov is a Bulgarian sprint canoer who competed in the late 1970s and early 1980s. At the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, he won a gold in the C-1 1000 m event and a silver in the C-1 500 m event.
Born in Plovdiv, Lyubenov won four medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a gold, a silver, and two bronzes.
