Who was Léon Aimé Taverdet?
Léon Aimé Taverde, F.M.C, was a French Prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. Taverde was born in Avanne, France and ordained a priest on September 25, 1955. He was appointed bishop to the Diocese of Langres on October 14, 1981 and ordained bishop November 29, 1981. He retired on December 16, 1999 as bishop of the Langres Diocese. He died August 8, 2013.
