DANCUN OTIENO who is Worldly known as MaLoon is an afrobeat artist and the founder of the kenyan sound NAIROVIBES,was born in Siaya county Bondo sub location a place near barkawaga School called Osena Home,
He was Born in 4th June 2004,inside the house,his Father was a deejay who used to deejay in clubs for pay,her mom used to sell little things and work for people for a pay, They are only 2 people Dancun and his younger brother Stephen ochieng,
Maloon was taken to Barkawaga primary school for his studies, he enrolled to grade 1 for at 5yrs, as MaLoon was still continuing with his studies, her parents had issues and parted ways leaving maloon homeless,he had to run to his grandmother house for a living, while living with her grandma ,the live started being tough and Maloon started to miss classes and collecting scrap metals to pay school fees,her Mom went with his younger brother while his father got married to another woman,
Maloon life and struggles became bitter and worst,his grandma died forcing maloon to leave school at class 5 after jumping from class 3 to class 5 ,after that he went to stay with her maternal grandmother in Asembo where he was enrolled back to class 6 , the life was so tough there he decided to go back home , on reaching home he was taken to class seven again he continues with his scrap metal to pay his studies and get food,then he finished his class 8 in 2019 where he scored 350 marks and was sponsored by KCB BANK wings to fly in his secondary succession,he was enrolled to BARKOWINO HIGH SCHOOL in Bondo in form one.
