Who is Mark Brennock?
Mark Brennock is an Irish journalist and Public Relations director. He used to work for The Irish Times.
He was educated in University College Dublin and Dublin City University. Until 2006, he served as Chief Political Correspondent for The Irish Times, a daily broadsheet in Ireland. During 20 years career as a journalist he also as Chief Northern Editor, Deputy News Editor and Foreign Affairs Correspondent at the paper. He won four National awards for journalism. Stephen Collins was appointed as his successor at the paper. It was suggested at the time that he was leaving the paper for being too 'soft' on the left, which didn't coincide with editor and former Progressive Democrat T.D. Geraldine Kennedy's viewpoints. He has also served on the Adoption Board of Ireland.
He became Director of Public Relations at Murray Consultants following his departure from the newspaper.
