Who is Mashaya 035?

Sakhile Wiseman Mbatha ( born 25 May 2001) known professionally as Mashaya 035 is a South African rapper , singer and songwriter raised in Empangeni.

Early life

He started singing at age 15 and performed for the first time at a Mgitswa high School talent show where he achieved first place .This went on to inspire him to develop a passion for creating music .While attending high school , Mbatha began to write and record his own music in a bedroom studio .

CAREER

2018 - Present

Mashaya 035 was interested in music at a young age .He made his music in the studio where his friend was an engineer .His early music included a single that he featured a Nigerian music prince ak2 , a song called For The level. The single went on to gross over twenty thousand streams on Indiesound and was very popular in his hometown. From the success of the single he then gained a decent following on social media platforms. In September 2019.

Mashaya released his debut single called Black Melanin co-produced by Ngcebo zkd. Year of of 2020 he releasd an EP of 3 songs called "DREAM OF MAKHAYA BOY" which he featured an Nigerian star “ DADA Dominic” on the song called On Me. EP was successful released.

2021 - Present

He released a song called BLA prod by Naughimore , ( Ball like Ayo) where he was inspired by an sensational American basketball player “ Ayo” . A very good trap song with a message behind. Song did very well in different cities. A snippet of the song reached over 400 views within 24 hours and the song is sitting on 23k views on twitter while it's over 1K on YouTube platform.

2022 Mashaya has released only one song called “ Ginger Me ” prod by @ Gogo records. A song did very well online as well as it's was featured on Afrocharts top 100 where it's reaches number 1 on Top 100 south African and Top 100 afro pop alongside with the act such as " Makhadzi, Rema , Kizz Daniel , Daliwonga , Zuma , Reece madlisa , Young Stunna , Busta 929 etc. That was an achievement itself for him since he's an upcoming artist but he pushes himself so well and he's a hard worker.
