Who is Melissa Bishop?
Melissa Bishop is a Canadian track and field athlete who specialises in the 800 metres. She competed in the 800m event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She lives by Lake Dore with her two parents, Alison and Doug Bishop. At the Olympics she was sixth in her heat and she did not continue onto the semi-finals or the finals. Bishop graduated from University of Windsor and is only the third Canadian woman to achieve a time under 2:00 minutes in the 800m.
