Who is Mohammed Ajijur Rahman?
MD. Ajijur Rahman was a politician of Bangladesh. After crossing a long road he went to Kolkata Islamia College for higher education. There he met Shaheed Shohrawardi and became his apprentice. At that time in Kolkata Islamia College hostel he also met Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. In 1944, he passed under Calcutta University with 85% marks in all subject. In 1950, he joined Dinajpur bar council and started his career as a lawyer. He started publishing a weekly news paper named ‘Shaptahik Awaj’ in 1955. In 1971, August in the liberation war of Bangladesh he was Lieutenant of entire Sector 6 and 7. He freed Thakurgaun on 4 December with the help of liberation army. After independence in 1972 he served as the Constitutional Assembly Of Bangladesh to form the constitution of Bangladesh. He died on 4 December 1991.
