Who is Monalisa Basarab?
Monalisa Basarab ia a theatre and film actress from Romania. After studying theatre and Film Academy, specialization acting, in Cluj-Napoca, between 1995-1998 to gain experience playing three years in the province, were enough to help a self-confidence in Bucharest. Here begins on the Nottara theatre scene and from 2002 until now is actress to “C. Tӑnase” Revue Theater of Bucharest. Movies fascinated of the 40s, watch film celluloid for hours and carefully study the role of the main actricess. Then, in the rest room relive the entire history and imagine how the life intended as character. Debut part in the film comes in 1999 with the “Nostradamus-Prophet des Untergangs” led by Klein Gunther, where she was Nostradamus’s wife. She come to the attention of the public with the role of the choir teacher of the movie “The way i spent the end of the world” directed by Catalin Mitulescu.
