Who was Mordechai Efraim Fischel Sofer-Zussman?

Mordechai Efraim Fischel Sofer-Zussman was a prominent rabbi who served in various communities before becoming the head if the Yere'im Community and chief rabbi of Budapest, Hungary in 1914. He wrote a commentary on the Pentateuch called Ateret Paz which was published in Jerusalem.

His father was Rabbi Benjamin Zev Wolf Sofer-Zussman, a rabbi in Budapest and author of Chalifot Simlat Binyamin. He married the daughter of Rabbi Kopel Reich, and assumed his father-in-law's position as Chief Rabbi of Budapest in 1914 upon his death.
