Who is Napoleon Wells?
Napoleon Wells is an American author, psychologist, speaker and activist noted for writing A Field Negroes Handbook. Though in limited release, the book was met with generally positive reviews when released in 2005. He has not yet published a follow up work.
He is noted for research on religiosity and psychological factors. Wells is a trained clinical psychologist and is listed as a specialist in the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder, working with military veterans. He has stated that he intends to work his entire career as "A Healer of those who have sacrificed in our nation's wars."
In addition to working with veterans, he has worked as a Professor at Bronx Community College and Hunter College. No record of him having taught any classes after 2007.
