Who is Oscar W. Ritchie?
Oscar Washington Ritchie, was the first African-American professor at a predominantly White university in the state of Ohio. Before his untimely demise, he held every position possible in the Sociology Department at Kent State University. This was only one of many accomplishments during his life.
