Who was Otto Büsing?
Otto Karl Gerd Lorenz Adolf Büsing was a highly decorated Generalmajor in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Otto Büsing was killed on 8 March 1944 near Kirovohrad, Ukraine. He was posthumously promoted to Generalmajor.
