Who was Otto Modersohn?
Friedrich Wilhelm Otto Modersohn was a German landscape painter. He was associated with the Düsseldorf school of painting and a member of the artists colony in Worpswede. He was married to fellow artist Paula Modersohn-Becker from 1901 until her untimely death in 1907.
