Who is Ozzie Diaz?

Ozzie is a seasoned technology executive with over 20 years experience in management, marketing, business development and leadership, and brings an impressive professional history in the wired and wireless networking, security, and mobile/cellular technology industries. Most recently, he was President & CEO of AirPatrol Corp., a leading wireless threat management solution provider to the US and Canadian Federal Governments and Fortune 1000 companies. Prior to AirPatrol, Ozzie was the CTO for Wireless and Mobility at Hewlett Packard, having driven the mobility strategy and solutions in the Office of Strategy and Technology with strategic partners such as Qualcomm, Microsoft, and Intel. His work in Systems Engineering, Marketing and Business Development for companies such as HP, Firetide, AirFlow Networks and Bivio Networks, as well as his telecom architecture work for companies such as Motorola and Cisco all testify to his experience in both Fortune 100 enterprises and early stage, venture-backed companies. His commitment to innovation, security and public/private partnerships is evident in the published paper titled "Utility of Broadband Wireless: A Technology Roadmap for Disaster Response", created for a broadband wireless and emergency preparedness strategy in cooperation with the Worldwide Consortium for the Grid (W2COG).
