Who is Parvati Dev?

Parvati Dev is a President and CEO at Innovation in Learning Inc. She was Director of the Stanford University Medical Media and Information Technologies (SUMMIT) Lab.

She has 35 years of experience developing technology solutions applied to life sciences learning and research problems, including 25 years of managerial experience leading groups 5 to 40 engineers and scientists in corporate and academic settings. While at CEMAX Inc., she developed the first commercially available 3D reconstructive imaging system for surgical planning and radiologic imaging. At Stanford University she founded and ran an internationally recognized learning technologies lab Stanford University Medical Media and Information Technologies (SUMMIT), with numerous firsts in multimedia, web and simulation for medical education. While at SUMMIT she was the P.I. for various federal grants and contracts including a $4.3M contract from NIH for development of biomedical applications on high performance networks. At Innovation in Learning, she has been the PI for federally funded subcontracts for development of medical virtual environments.
