Sam Ghosh is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Reliance Capital. Ghosh has been instrumental in spurring growth for the company and steering two successful stake sales in Reliance Capital's life insurance and asset management businesses by roping in Nippon Life Insurance, one of the world's largest life insurers as a partner. Ghosh is seen amongst the most successful and respected executives in the finance industry across Asia. Institutional Investor has named him as one of the Captains of Asian Finance, placing him along side Aditya Puri of HDFC Bank, Ma Weihua of China Merchants Bank, Ra Eung Chang of South Korea's Shinhan Financial Group, and Agus Martawardajo of Bank Mandiri, Indonesia.
