Susan P Holmes is the John Henry Samter University Fellow in Undergraduate Education and Professor of Statistics at Stanford University.
Research interests include Mathematical applications to Biology, in particular phylogenetic trees, graphs and networks. Computational statistics, in particular, nonparametric computer intensive methods such as the bootstrap and MCMC. Teaching using simulations and web-based tools. Image analysis. Immunology. Cancer.
