Who is Ted Johnson?
Ted Johnson, Trumba's Vice President- Products, has
over 20 years of leadership and technical experience in the computer
software business. Most recently, Johnson served as Corporate Vice
President of Microsoft's Business Tools Division (Project, Visio,
Publisher, and MapPoint), which accounted for nearly $1 billion of
revenue in Microsoft's fiscal year ending June 2003. Johnson had joined
Microsoft in January 2000 as part of its acquisition of Visio
Corporation, which he co-founded in 1990. Throughout Visio's 10-year
existence, Johnson led product development and served on the Visio
Board of Directors. Prior to founding Visio, Johnson worked at Aldus
Corporation where he oversaw the development of PageMaker for Windows
among other products. He began his computing career in the Boston area
working at two Route 128 startups. Johnson graduated from the
University of Minnesota in 1982 with a BS in computer science.
