Who is Thalia Mara?
Thalia Mara was a ballet educator who helped found the USA International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi. She was the author of 11 books on ballet, founded the Thalia Mara Arts International Foundation, and in 1994 Jackson's Municipal Auditorium was renamed Thalia Mara Hall.
