Who is Thug Drama?

Thug Drama (aka 23 Drumz) is a music producer for a label called BTM Music Group Inc. (formerly known as BTM Platinum Entertainment also associated with the sub-label, Chrome Edition Music and the newly added production label, The Network Music). His real name is Terrance Hopper, he was born in 1980 in Trenton, New Jersey and now resides in North Carolina. He is known mostly for sampling R soul music over deep basslines. He is also known as a "Ghost" producer, meaning he receives royalties for tracks that he produce even if he doesn't credit his name to the track, from indie and major record labels. He has produced and co-produced for a large number of artists.

It is rumored that he is a member or former member of the "Black Mafia Family" or BMF. Some of his earlier works include rappers: Joe Budden, Young Jeezy & Fabolous. They are also rumored to be members of BMF. Thug Drama is more behind the scenes in the music industry and states that it is not fame that he is looking for, turning down numerous recording and production contracts from many labels but releasing his own independent albums under his BTM Music Group label. His third installment of the basics trilogy intitled, "Wildcard", which is a double album, was released January 11, 2011, also in January, Thug Drama inked a deal on his new production label called The Network. The label will feature artists such as Melato Black & Bega. Thug Drama plans to release a mixtape July 18, 2011 entitled, "Invitation", in which basically sound like his earlier albums, taking his fans back to the raw and dirty side of him.

Thug Drama is credited for tracks such as, Raheem Devaughn's- "You", Mary J. Blige's- "All That I Can Say", Nicki Minaj's- "Your Love", and a host of many other tracks.
