Who is Tim Mason?
Tim Mason is a Canadian lawn bowler from Penetanguishene, Ontario. He is a two time Canadian champion and an International medalist. He holds both outdoor and indoor Canadian National Championship titles. He first played for Canada at the 2006 World Cup in Australia becoming a member of the Canadian National Team. He is a Four time International Medalist, having won his first at the 2007 Asia Pacific Championship's in Christchurch, New Zealand and again at the 2011 Asia Pacific Championship's in Adelaide, Australia. Along with a North American Championship Gold. He was named an alternate for the 2010 Canadian Commonwealth Games Team.
Tim has come on to the Bowls scene and has brought national attention to the sport in his home country of Canada. He is one of few players around the world to represent his country at an Indoor, Outdoor and Short Mat International Championship. Previously Tim was a professional hockey player and he used his sports background to make the jump to lawn bowling.
He currently resides in West Vancouver, BC and his home club is the West Vancouver LBC.
