Who was Tully Kingdon?
The Rt Revd Hollingworth Tully Kingdon DD was an Anglican bishop, the second Bishop of Fredericton until his death on 13 October 1907.
He was born in 1835 and educated at St Paul’s and Trinity College, Cambridge. Ordained in 1860, he began his career with curacies in Sturminster Marshall and Devizes. From 1864 to 1869 he was Vice Principal of Wells Theological College and then Vicar of Good Easter until his elevation to the Episcopate.
