Tural Abbasov is an Azerbaijani swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. Abbasov represented Azerbaijan at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed in the men's 50 m freestyle. He raced to fourth place on the fourth heat by 0.14 of a second behind Myanmar's Kyaw Zin in 26.31 seconds. Abbasov failed to advance into the semifinals, as he placed seventy-eighth out of 97 swimmers in the overall rankings.
