Who is Tutekohi Rangi?

Tutekohi Rangi was a New Zealand Māori tohunga and faith healer. Of Māori descent, he identified with the Te Aitanga-a-Hauiti iwi. He was born in Mangatuna, East Coast, New Zealand in about 1871.
