Who is Vera Djatel?

Vera Djatel is an international Ukrainian football midfielder who currently plays for Zorky Krasnogorsk in the Russian Championship. She previously played for Lehenda Chernihiv and Zhytlobud Kharkiv in the Ukrainian League and Zvezda Perm in Russia. She helped Zvezda reach the 2008-09 UEFA Women's Cup with 3 goals in the quarter-final and semifinals ties against Brøndby and Umeå. She won 2 Russian leagues and 3 Ukrainian leagues with Zvezda and Zhytlobud respectively.

She represented Ukraine at the UEFA Women's Euro 2009. Djatel was a starter in all three games and assisted Daryna Apanaschenko in Ukraine's first goal in the tournament against Denmark.
