Who was Victor Yates?
Victor Francis Yates was a British pacifist Labour politician.
He was Member of Parliament for Birmingham, Ladywood from 1945 until his death in 1969. In the subsequent by-election the seat was gained by the Liberal candidate Wallace Lawler.
