Who is Vjekoslav Bevanda?
Vjekoslav Bevanda is a Bosnian Croat politician and is the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a member of Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After he attended primary and high school in Mostar, Bevanda graduated from Faculty of Economy at University of Mostar in 1979.
Between 1979 and 1989 he worked in airplane industry "SOKO" in Mostar. From 1990 to 1993 he worked in the "APRO" bank, also in Mostar. From 2000 until 2001 he worked in "Euro Center" in Split, and from 2001 for next 6 years as a director of the " Commerce Bank" from Sarajevo.
Bevanda was Minister of Finance of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from March 2007 until March 2011. At the same time he was Vice President of the Federal Government. Before that he has done various legistrature duties for the Federation.
