Walter B. Kielholz, a Swiss citizen born in 1951, completed a degree in business administration at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, in 1976. From 1997 to 2002 he was CEO of Swiss Re; since 1998 he is Swiss Re's Chairman. Kielholz also serves as a member of the supervisory board of Credit Suisse.
