Who was Wang Fu?
Wang Fu was a philosopher from Zhenyuan County, Gansu, Gansu, China. He is best known for the text Qian fu lun, which endorsed the Confucian model of government.
According to the Hou Han Shu, he was a friend of Ma Rong, Zhang Heng, Cui Yuan and other scholars. He did not pursue a court career and composed his work in seclusion.
His tomb is situated in Zhenyuan, being one of the protected sites of the provincial level.
