William "Bill" Burgess is an English rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1960s and '70s, playing representative level rugby union for Lancashire, and at club level for Furness RUFC, and Fylde RFC, and playing representative level rugby league for Great Britain, England, and Lancashire, and at club level for Barrow, and Salford, as a Wing, i.e. number 2 or 5.
